Tired but still going.......Part Two

Seems like when it rains it pours. I have been so busy working on Christmas ornaments and had two sick little ones and myself for a week now.  I hope I can keep up with the demand, i still have to get more made for a local store. I hope by spending quality family time today and after a  reunion tomorrow, I can focus on my art. I feel like I need to get back into some jewelry after the last few weeks. I'm not saying I don't want to make the ornaments, it's just that I enjoy the jewelry  making so much more. the wire is smaller and challenging! I have always been up for a good challenge! I have so many ideas and never enough time! Well so it seems. :)

How did it already get to be a month from my last post?????

Sorry I have been knitting all sorts of goodies. I really need to stay on top of posting here. I have been making Christmas ornaments for my store and The Big Red Barn where I have many pieces for sale. I already gave them 12 ornaments, last year I had over 30 and sold almost all of them! So I still need to get more done for them too! I have a few new ideas I want to work on but they are more elaborate and take more time, I hope to get to work on them. One is an angel topper and a star topper as well as icicles. We shall see, I am working on some star ornaments right now.

Feels like one day rolls into another. One project rolls into another. I had a festival I went to and did really well. I had so many people ask me about how I knit the jewelry and so on. It was nice to do a festival and I hope to do more.  I am currently working on a few projects one being the Etsymom teams fall color challenge and the other a challenge of my own. I am trying to get more likes for my Facebook page so I am working on some ornaments to give away to the winners. That of course will have to be finished next week!  I have donated my time to the Fort Wayne Ballet this week sewing mouse hats for 18" , for my daughters dance studio's fundrasier. I feel like a jack of all trades this week. For the color challege I am thinking about these 7.......but I can only choose 2!

Ideas

I am working on some pendants for my shop. Mostly sea glass, I am getting very high interest in sea glass from my customers. I am making them just like the earrings but trying to figure out some more designs.I guess today is a designing day!

Working Things Out

I am not sure but time seems to stand still for somethings in my mind. Events in my life, weird how sometimes the past makes sense now and how we couldn't see it then. Now frozen in my mind. Past mistakes, sorry's that never were given, weird how they come back. Lessons learned. just like my pieces, always something unexpected. Decisions to be made. Somethings can be erased but still leave a mark. Others, unfinished projects I have loads of them. Some day I say, someday.

Part Three of Floor Cloth Rug

Paint on canvas check, paint on my hands check, paint in my hair, paint everywhere check! I am the messiest painter by far. I am still working on background, paint is still wet too, bit of glare on photo. I cannot wait to do foreground....butterflies and lavender soon to be painted!
